Paparazzi is a game about fame and catching your friends in the act, where players take photos of their friends and share them while trying to become the most famous in their area. The goal is simple: by taking shots of your friends, having your picture taken, and being in the right place at the right time, you can become the biggest celebrity in your city!

Playing Paparazzi is easy — as you snap photos of your friends (and they snap photos of you), simply tag people by tapping their faces on the screen, add a witty headline, and boom, you’re on the way to becoming the most famous celeb on your block.

Every photo you take earns you points, as does every photo you’re in. As you gain attention and points, you become more valuable to other players who can ride your coattails to stardom.

Just as in real life, it’s all about location, location, location. The more photos of famous people that are taken in a given area, the more that area is worth, meaning that all photos taken in a famous area are that much more valuable. Catch a famous friend in a hot spot and watch your score go up even more!

Not all shots increase your score, however — you’ve got to watch your image! Not all press is good press, and if you end up in too many photos you’ll quickly find yourself over-exposed and actually worth negative points, so be careful of your reputation!

All the happenings in Paparazzi are spread to your friends through the news feed, so you can see what your friends are doing, who they’re out with, and where they’ve been. Your game photos get saved to your phone, and with Paparazzi’s Facebook integration, it’s easy to share those photos with your friends as well. Add the application on Facebook and start snapping photos — photos taken with Paparazzi automatically get posted on Facebook in your photos section with your friends tagged. Cool, huh?

The fun isn’t limited to just those taking the photos either — players can voice their opinions on other peoples’ shots by promoting them, disagree with shots by disputing them and even use their points to bribe other paparazzi to take their shots down. Remember, the more photos taken by you, of you, or near you, the more points they’re worth.
