This little intuitive Flash Cards application based on a frequecy dictionary is intended for language learners, students, tourists and travelers. It will help you increase your word stock while learning a foreign language. Now you can not only use your iPhone to access a dictionary, but actively learn new words when you have a minute with simple and funny exercises.
The application contains 8.200 words from 7 languages sorted by their usage-frequency (from the most frequently used to the less frequently used). Words from English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, Italian, French are sorted. Every word-entry includes one most common translation into every language. You can pick up unknown words and start learning them with flash cards.
Flash cards offer you the following exercises:
- Simple test: choose the correct translation for the foreign word from the 5 given variants
- Backward test: same exercise with the reverse translation. That means for the word from your native language you should choose the correct equivalent form the 5 given foreign words
- Mosaic: match 5 words you are learning now with the 5 given translations into your native language
- Backward mosaic: match 5 words from your native language with the 5 words from the language your are learning

The exercises are correct for every pair of 7 languages presented in this application. For example if your native language is Spanish and you would like to learn Portuguese, we encourage you to start using this Flash Cards application, as both languages are presented.

You can easily compose your word lists, edit them, add words you would like to learn, remove words from the list and repeat the learned words after a while.

If the language you would like to learn is not presented in the Frequency Dictionary application, you still can use this application learning features, by adding words with translations manually.
