Famous is a new form of social networking / social experiment application that offers everyone a chance at their 15 minutes of fame.

Submit a profile for yourself, your band, or your website.

Every 15 minutes, a profile is randomly selected from the pool and made active. For the next 15 minutes, every Famous user in the world views that profile, and can – optionally – contact the owner of that profile or visit their website.

Submit a profile for yourself just to let the world know who you are. Build a band profile to get people listening to those MP3s you’ve got on your site. Either way, it’s simple to create and upload a profile, and then it's just a matter of crossing your fingers as the Famous lottery does its work!
