This Day allows you to select a date and it will indicates which day of the week for this date. You can click the shake button or shake the iPhone/iPod Touch to choose a random date. Clicking the Today button sets the date to the current date.

Clicking the This Day In History button takes you to the flip side view which displays information in a scrollable window where you can find out what events and birthdays occur on the date selected from the main view.
