Ready to save some money and time? We've got the app for you. The iPhone companion to the popular MealBox widget is finally here, and it's packed with thousands of recipes, menu and meal planning tools and an interactive shopping list.

If you're within range of one of the more than 180 Meijer stores in MI, OH, IN, KY or IL, there's even more. Pick a store and you can shop your weekly store circular and coupons right from your iPhone or iTouch!

Version 1.0 of the Meijer MealBox includes the following functionality:

- Recipe Browser: Browse thousands of recipes by category or dietary constraint. Sale and coupon items are highlighted, or use our "Value Meal" search to find recipes that make best use of what's on sale this week, including user-submitted recipes and local celebrity chefs!

- Menu and Meal Planning: Decide what's for dinner on Saturday, or plan an entire week's worth of meals. Add recipes to the meal planner, and ingredients will automatically be added to your shopping list. Users are already saving up to 50% on their weekly grocery bills using our Menu Planning tools!

- Weekly Specials & Coupons: Your weekly store circular is now on your iPhone. And you can find recipes that use each item that's on sale. Coupons? We've got coupons too - and soon you'll be able to redeem them right off your iPhone! (For now we're asking you to print them from http://www.meijermealbox.com). We're averaging over $50 in coupon savings per week in MealBox!

- Shopping List: All your recipe selections, meal plans, weekly specials and coupons are automatically added to your shopping list. Take it to the store, and tick off items as you add them to your basket.

- Recipe Box: Save all your favorite recipes in the Recipe Box for quick and easy access - on your phone or on the web!

- Profile: Set your recipe and dietary preferences here, and we'll be sure you see only the most relevant content.
