HideMyID will hide your caller id from displaying on the phone you are calling.
The other person will not be able to see the number you are calling from. Instead, 'BLOCKED' or similar will display.

HOW TO USE: Simply choose a contact from your address book and hit the call button. Your address book number is not changed. Dialled number is fully visible.

This should work on calls to landlines and mobiles from and to the UK or Ireland, respectively.

NB: prefix codes can not contain special characters like * or #. Call logs are inaccessible. Agencies or businesses using special call capture or similar technology will be able to unmask your caller id. Certain phone systems may not honour the request. Use responsibly, at owners risk/discretion. Test to confirm.

Iphone's built in block function is a blanket approach. This offers call-to-call choice.

The Prefix code can be changed and saved through the options screen. Therefore enter the prefix code to block your caller ID according to your specific country and phone system. Always test and verify prefix code. No special characters work as detailed.

Prefix Codes - Untested:
Australia - 1831
New Zealand - 0197.
