Enjoy asynchronous gaming with WMITF. Launch the app and see the countdown timer until the next movie quote is launched. Either sit and wait for it to expire, set an alarm (using the Clock app) to re-open the application later, or simply play blindly with the timer itself!

Asynchronous gaming is something we all love to participate in. Instead of spending several hours playing a game, WMITF plays you when you least expect it! -- The countdown timer amounts change all the time :) -- We believe this keeps things interesting and fun for those of you who don't have a lot of time to play games for several hours out of your daily schedule.

When you first launch WMITF, be sure to click the (i) info button and set your display name. This display name is sent to the global WMITF servers and is used to identify yourself as well as display your score relative to the potentially hundreds of thousands of other players.

The countdown timer represents the number of hours, minutes, and seconds before the next movie quote is launched to the entire user base of potentially hundreds of thousands of users. Every single owner of WMITF sees the exact same countdown timer as you. Once the countdown expires, the movie quote is launched to all who have the application running.

The object of the game is to be the first out of potentially hundreds of thousands of users to answer the movie quote first correctly. Users are then displayed which place they came into relative to the entire user base, and are granted points based on that place and the difficultness of the movie quote.

The game repeats itself over and over again all day, each day.


Points:

1st place = 40 points * difficultness of quote
2nd place = 30 points * difficultness of quote
3rd place = 20 points * difficultness of quote

If you answer the quote correctly and do not place, you will receive the quote difficultness amount.

If you do not answer the quote correctly in the alloted time or if you stump yourself, you will receive 0 points.

Note: The WMITF engine guarantees fair game play. Your internet connection speed does not play a factor in the place you come in. Your position is calculated from the moment the movie quote is launched, to the moment you click submit with a correct answer.
