Usage instructions

Find your preferred combination of film, shooting speed, developer, and dilution in The Massive Dev Chart database from Digitaltruth Photo Ltd optimized for easy browsing on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Beautiful Multi-Phase timer will be ready to time your development showing you all steps needed to go from development, through stop bath, fixing, and rinsing.

Once you start the timer and your development, visual feedback and sound notifications will remind you when you need to agitate your tank. At the end of each phase, timer automatically pauses and plays a sound for you to remind you it's time to change chemicals.

By default development time selected for each film/developer will be accompanied with the following settings:

- 1:00 min of stop bath
- 5:00 min of fixing
- 10:00 min of rinsing
- 1:00 min of continuous agitation, then 10 seconds of agitation every other minute

If you want to change any of these settings, just add the film/developer combination to your Favorites and adjust them. The Massive Dev Chart database will stay in the read-only mode always containing the original development times.

When you need to develop a film at other developer temperature than the recommended 20℃ or 68℉, just change the developer temperature using the picker wheel and your development time will be adjusted automatically using the Ilford Time/Temperature Compensation Chart. Be careful tough that the time/temperature compensation algorithm works reliably only for development times between 4:00 and 24:00 min and developer temperatures between 18℃ and 26℃.
