Sometimes though - you just want information and you don't care so much about the format. That's when Fast Web comes in.

Fast web uses a Google service that dramatically shrinks the pages and reformats them for a small device.

Fast web doesn't have the full fancy layout. It just gives you the content you need in a format that is easy to use.
-All text is immediately in a size that you can read.
-Text and images fit in the width of your screen (no need to keep scrolling around or zooming in and out)
-Images are automatically scaled to a size that works with the iphone screen
-Menus and sidebars are automatically 'folded' so that they don't take up valuable screen space. (Simply tap on the + icon to 'unfold' them).
-Much smaller pages download Much Faster!
