Factory Presets

Instant Beat is loaded with Factory Presets to learn from, edit and save as your own arrangements. Start by playing around with the different sessions and sound patterns then switch between the different sound kits and make some simple editing. As your musical skills improve you will be able to make your own beats completely from scratch.

Total versatility

The different sound kits give you the power of composing everything from Rock, Industry, Club/Dance, Electronica and even old 8-bit Game Music! The factory sessions cleverly demonstrate many different styles and what Instant Beat is capable of.

Next Gen User Interface

The user interface borrows many features from legendary rhythm composers and combines it with modern features provided by the superb touch screen of your iPhone. Draw your sound patterns graphically in the Grid Editor. Scroll the grid to work with different parts of the pattern. Save and load from scrollable list views and more.

Never Stop the Music

Everything in Instant Beat is executed in real time and you never really have to stop the music. You can load, edit, save and switch instrument kits while the music is still playing. This is a key feature that keeps your creativity on top when making beats.

Unlimited Save and Simple Copy Features

As a modern tool Instant Beat does not limit you to a handful of slots for saving. You can edit and save as much of your work as there is free space on your iPhone. To copy a pattern, just load it to a new slot and save it with a new name.


Playing Live

Not only is Instant Beat a portable rhythm editor but also an instrument for live performances. There are six simultaneous slots at your disposal where you can preload your work. Eight large pads can be found on the lower section of the main view. Just touch them to triggers sounds from the active kit. The pads can be used at all times and when the session is running the pad triggering is quantized for you. This makes sure that your performance is synchronized with the running session.
