The application includes the full contents of the database (2007b) prepared by Health Canada.

Nutrients Canada displays the contents of the database in a convenient hierarchical fashion and provides a search feature. Clicking on a specific food item will bring up a details page enabling you to obtain actual nutrient contents for common servings or packaging. The actual nutritional information is displayed in a familiar format that mimics the Canadian nutritional value label regulations.
