Committing the Japanese syllabary to memory is literally as easy as writing it! You are provided with each character of both hiragana and katakana on an endless, double-sided canvas that's "spring-loaded" to give you self-guided access to corresponding characters. And you can be sure that you are drawing them in the proper stroke order, though you'll find that you never had to "learn" it. Explore one "side" at a time, or learn the two syllabaries side-by-side. The only thing you need to do to learn is draw the character. We'll take care of the rest!

The trick is that the SJC Write System imprints the characters' appearances in your mind and commits their structure to muscle memory simultaneously as you draw over the character, allowing you to stop concentrating so hard and just start learning! Cramming has been shown to be one of the least effective methods of long-term learning. This is the exact opposite.
