TVU Networks brings you a live TV service with 300 channels from around the world. Now, the same great stuff that you watch on TVU on your PC, is available right here on your iPhone through WiFi.

Thanks to all of you who saw us through the hiccups of our beta versions of TVUPlayer on the iPhone. Because of limitations of the CPU and processing power of the older versions of iPhone, some channels were slow in loading, or had choppy video and/or audio or sync issues. Some channels may have even showed an error during start-up.

On this new version of TVUPlayer v1.0, the performance is much improved and the viewing experience vastly superior.

Audio sync is no longer an issue; in the worst case, it might go off a bit, but it will quickly catch up. You might still see just a wee bit of choppy video where the motion is not smooth – but all in all, it’s a whole lot better.

Remember: the best viewing experience is on channels showing a bandwidth of 200kbps or lower, and these channels are now marked with an iPhone icon in the Channel line-up, indicating these are great to watch on TVU.
