Description:

ABC Tracer is a fun filled alphabet tracing app that animates and shows how to draw the alphabets with strokes in the right order.

When tracing with finger:
Correct tracing (on the line and right order of stroke) is highlighted in green.
Wrong tracing (deviating too much from the line or wrong order of stroke) is highlighted in red.
The tracing is accompanied with fun audio.

Menu:
Green Crayon: Animates and shows how to draw the alphabet with strokes in right order.
Eraser: Clears the screen.
Ear icon: Says out the alphabet sound loud.
Face icon: Says out the alphabet's phonetics sound loud.
Paint brush: Flips the screen and goes in drawing mode.
In drawing mode, your child can not only have fun with drawing but also practice writing words.

Left/Right arrow: Navigate previous/next alphabet sequentially or randomly (if random setting is on)
ABC, abc, 123: Displays list view, so you can jump to alphabet/number of your choice.

Settings (can be accessed through iphone/ipod's settings):
Flash Card Mode: If on, it shows solid alphabet and says it out loud.
Use this mode if your child is just beginning to recognize letters.
Random mode: displays alphabet's in random order (when using the arrows).
Audio on/off: controls saying alphabet aloud during navigation.
You can use random mode with audio off, to quiz your child.

If the alphabet audio does not play by default after installing the app, please visit the app settings screen and make sure the audio is turned on.

Note to parents:
Once your child is able to trace a few alphabets correctly (let's say 5), get him or her to practice writing on an actual book with the three guiding lines. Use this app as an incentive for them to do some actual writing before allowing them to practice the next set of 5.
