Lala's ABCs is a beautiful, easy-to-use alphabet flashcard app that helps toddlers learn to read.

Each card features a letter of the alphabet in uppercase and lowercase, an adorable drawing of an animal whose name starts with that letter, and the word for the given animal.

Read the letters and words together with your children, or turn on the sound and let your kids listen to the beautiful narration by singer Flora McGill. For each card, the voiceover first sounds out the letter, then slowly and clearly pronounces the accompanying word.

The app also features a normal play mode, in which the letters are in the usual alphabetical sequence (A, B, C...); and a "shuffle" mode, in which the letters are chosen at random.

Lauren Selig is the imaginative woman behind Lala's ABCs. Lauren was given the nickname "Lala" by her younger sister, with whom she traveled the world during her childhood. Lauren lives in Seattle with her husband, Kyril, and in her spare time, which is limited these days, she enjoys the outdoors.
